Baku-APA. U.S. University of Texas was shut down after a gunman was found dead in the library of the university in Austin, a university official said Tuesday, APA reports quoting news.xinhuanet.com website.
The gunman died after appearing to have shot himself in the Perry Castaneda Library in the university, said Rohnda Weldon, the university’s director of communications.
Police were reportedly looking for a possible second suspect because descriptions given by eye witnesses differed.
Weldon said it was not known if the second suspect involved in the case was armed.
The campus was shut down after the shooting accident and police were investigating.
