Uzbek leader: Under President Ilham Aliyev’s leadership, Azerbaijan is undergoing rapid development

Under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan is undergoing rapid and large-scale development, especially in the lands of Karabakh, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev said during the Leaders’ Session held within the framework of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, APA reports.

“I greet you at the 13th session of the World Urban Forum, an influential platform where the most pressing issues of global development are discussed, and I am very pleased to be here. Today, in the beautiful city of Baku, the pearl of the Caspian Sea, I would like to express my deep gratitude to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, for the high-level organization of this conference and for the sincere hospitality shown to us. Your Excellency, under your leadership, Azerbaijan is undergoing rapid and large-scale development, especially in the lands of Karabakh. Within a short period of time, entire cities have been restored in the liberated territories, and new residential complexes and modern infrastructure facilities have been built. Taking this opportunity, I would like to emphasize that Uzbekistan is ready to make a worthy contribution to such noble initiatives,” the President of Uzbekistan noted.
