“The World Urban Forum is the largest international event in the field of urban planning for us," Head of Department at the Ministry of Environment, Urbanisation and Climate Change of the Republic of Türkiye Pınar Zoral said in a statement to APA.
She thanked both UN-Habitat and Azerbaijan, which organised the event this year:
“The organisation has been very good, serious preparations were made, and the venue is also of a high standard. As Türkiye, we are participating with a large delegation. This forum, hosted by Azerbaijan, is one of our most extensive WUF participations. A delegation of around 35 people is participating in the forum at different stages. Delegation members attend the events on a rotational basis and actively participate in the sessions.”
The department head also invited everyone to COP31, which will be held in the Turkish city of Antalya in November.
