“The Turkic-speaking countries have already begun to form their own maps”, said Merey Mukazhan, Deputy Secretary-General of the Organization of Turkic States, at the 2nd Meeting of the Heads of Mapping Agencies of the Organization of Turkic States, APA reports.
He said that discussions on the preparation of military maps will be further expanded in the future:
“In recent times, representatives of the Cartography Institute have held a number of meetings. Discussions have been conducted regarding the preparation of the map of the Turkic-speaking countries. These meetings are very important for us.”
