Slovakia is very well known within the European Union as a country with extensive experience in water management, Slovak Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Environment Tomas Taraba said in a statement to journalists within the framework of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) held in Baku, APA-Economics reports.
He spoke about priorities in the field of water scarcity: “We do not yet feel serious water scarcity. But on the other hand, we have extensive experience in how to deliver quality water to cities. Our priority is precisely to share our knowledge and experience on how to support communities and ensure sufficient resources in terms of water management. For this reason, making water policy one of the main topics of international relations is a priority for us.”
