A document on establishing cooperation relations between the city of Shusha in Azerbaijan and the city of Trabzon in Türkiye has been signed, APA reports.
The memorandum of understanding was signed by Aydin Karimov, Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan for the Shusha district, and Ahmet Metin Genç, Mayor of Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality.
Within the framework of the agreement, the parties envisage the development of cooperation in the fields of culture, tourism, urban planning, science, economy and other areas of public life.
Note that the document was signed at the event titled “Cities at the Center of Connectivity: Urban Reconstruction and Regional Cooperation” held within the framework of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).
