Presidential special representative: New standards developed for better development of Shusha

"Shusha has natural limitations — the city is located on rocky terrain and surrounded by mountains and ravines on all sides. Therefore, correcting any mistake made there later is very difficult," Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Shusha district, Aydin Karimov, said during his speech at the dialogue session titled “BBB Publication (TBC)” held within the framework of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), APA reports.

He noted that they are moving forward based on the principle of “learning by doing” and expressed confidence that they are progressing in the right direction thanks to coordinated cooperation among public institutions, the private sector, and communities — especially with the support of the people living there — and hope to achieve success.

Aydin Karimov also emphasized that new standards have been developed with the support of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture in order to better develop Shusha, and these standards are currently being successfully implemented.
