Preparations for WUF13 are continuing at an accelerated pace, said Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture and national coordinator of WUF13, Anar Guliyev, during a briefing dedicated to the Thirteenth Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), APA reports.
According to him, the Baku Olympic Stadium, where WUF13 will be held, will once again become the center of global attention.
Anar Guliyev noted that the preparations have already reached the final stage: “Forty main sessions, about 350 partner events and a large urban exhibition covering 35,000 square meters will be organized at the stadium.”
He emphasized that WUF13 will serve as an important platform for dialogue, partnerships, and real cooperation, where practical solutions to global housing problems from various countries will be presented.
Anar Guliyev also noted that WUF13 will bring together heads of state and government: “WUF13 will also create a platform for direct dialogue among ministers, mayors and experts, inspired by the COP29 Ministerial Meeting, enabling the development of practical solutions and the achievement of concrete results.”
