Baku has already become one of the main centers for international events, Melvine Wajiri, Chief Executive Officer of the Africa-based non-governmental organization “People Empowering People,” said in a statement to APA within the framework of WUF13 held in Baku.
“I think that, like COP29, this forum is also a major event for Baku. Baku is gradually becoming one of the main hubs for global events. This is a good indicator for the Azerbaijani government,” she noted.
The African guest highly praised the holding of World Urban Forum 13 in Baku and stated that the forum serves as an important platform for global cooperation.
“The main goal is to cooperate, network, share resources and meet new people. Platforms like this are important for building smarter cities and making the world a better place.”
