Azerbaijan will host the 13th World Urban Forum, the second-largest event at the UN level, with the participation of thousands of representatives from various countries, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmat Hajiyev said in a statement to journalists, APA reports.
“There are great opportunities and extensive experience that the Republic of Azerbaijan will present to the international community here. As we have noted, Azerbaijan is a country that, in a post-conflict environment, is restoring, rebuilding, and bringing life back to this number of cities, villages, and settlements. The most modern methodologies and approaches to urban planning are being applied here. We believe that this will be a very successful experience. Azerbaijan will share its unique experience with the international community,” the presidential aide noted.
