The Euronews television channel has produced a report on Baku White City, APA reports.
The report presents the Baku White City project, currently under construction in Baku, as a successful application of the concept of human-centered urban planning.
The report notes that the project reflects the transformation of former industrial zones into modern, sustainable and pedestrian-friendly urban neighborhoods.
“Baku White City demonstrates that human-centered planning, sustainability and pedestrian-oriented design can transform a former industrial area into a modern neighborhood suited to everyday urban life. The spaces developed under the project are not only modern residential buildings, but also areas that combine commercial and public functions,” the Euronews report says.
It adds that the urban planning approach prioritizes human needs over car-centered design, creating harmony between streets, parks and public spaces.
The report also highlights that this type of planning aims to improve the quality of urban life and make living environments more comfortable and accessible. It emphasizes that sustainable architecture, expansive green spaces and cultural and social facilities were key priorities in the project’s design.
The implementation of the project is said to promote a healthier and more socially active lifestyle in the city, serving as an example of a modern urban development approach preparing Baku for the future.
