A documentary film titled “Sheki: Shebeke, History and Craftsmanship Unite Azerbaijan’s Living Heritage” was presented within the framework of WUF13, APA reports.
The film reflects Sheki’s future as a “smart city” developing through the harmony of tradition and modernity.
The documentary highlights Sheki’s 2,500-year Silk Road history, the architectural unity rebuilt after the 1772 flood, and its historical heritage included in UNESCO’s World Heritage List.
The film mainly focuses on the Sheki Khans’ Palace and the art of shebeke craftsmanship.
Note that the documentary was produced by Azerbaijan’s international television channel “AnewZ.”
