With the support of the Azerbaijani state, 1,223 apartments, 1,789 commercial facilities, a cultural center and a primary school have been built in Kahramanmaraş in order to eliminate the traces of destruction, Ahmet Kutlu Gayretli, Head of the Mass Housing Projects and Research Department, said during a session on urban planning held at the Turkish pavilion within the framework of WUF13, APA reports.
He stated that in the Azerbaijan neighborhood in Kahramanmaraş there are commercial facilities, offices, a gym, a cultural center, as well as a shopping mall (AVM): “The Heydar Aliyev School is also located within the complex. Today, this place has become one of the most beautiful neighborhoods and one of the most developed areas of Kahramanmaraş province.”
The department head particularly emphasized that the Azerbaijani state made a major contribution to this project.
