Committee: Restoration in liberated territories is being carried out in line with global urban planning standards

Restoration and reconstruction works carried out in the liberated territories are being implemented in accordance with global urban planning standards, Ramil Jahangirov, head of the Project Management Department for the liberated territories at the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture, said during his speech at the dialogue session titled “BBB Publication (TBC)” held within the framework of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), APA reports.

He stated that special guidelines have been prepared for construction companies in the liberated territories, and work in this direction is ongoing.

According to the department head, cooperation with international companies already exists in the liberated territories:

“Restoration and construction works are continuing in Shusha, Zangilan and other liberated territories. The main goal is to implement the plans in accordance with the characteristics of the areas. These territories were almost completely destroyed, and the work is being carried out from scratch in a planned manner.”
