The Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture, Anar Guliyev, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Maksat Mamytkanov, the Committee’s Press Service told APA.
During the meeting, issues related to the strategic partnership between the two countries, as well as the expansion of cooperation in the fields of urban planning and architecture, were discussed.
Anar Guliyev particularly emphasized that Kyrgyzstan’s fraternal support for the restoration and reconstruction efforts being carried out in Karabakh and East Zangezur is highly appreciated. He noted that the opening of a school building in the village of Khidirli in the Aghdam district this year is one of the best examples of this support, and expressed confidence that joint projects with Kyrgyzstan will continue to develop successfully in the future.
At the end of the meeting, the Chairman of the Committee invited the Kyrgyz side to actively participate in the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), which will be held in Baku in 2026.
