An NGO Forum within the framework of WUF13 will be held on May 19 with the organization of the NGO Agency, said Aygun Aliyeva, Chairperson of the Board of the NGO Agency and a member of the WUF13 Organizing Committee, APA reports.
She noted that representatives of civil society from more than 100 countries are expected to attend the forum: “This global event will contribute to shaping the legacy of WUF13 for both local and international NGOs.”
Aygun Aliyeva added that the General Assembly of the Global South NGO Platform is expected to be held on May 14 within the framework of “Baku Urban Planning Week,” and on May 16, the 2nd Solidarity Forum of NGOs from member states of the Organization of Turkic States will take place. According to her, the NGO Agency will act as a partner in both international events.
