A roundtable titled “State supervision in ensuring construction, fire, technical and radiation safety in urban planning activities” has been organized by the Ministry of Emergency Situations in connection with the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) to be held in Baku, APA reports.
Officials from the Ministry of Emergency Situations and its relevant subordinate bodies, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture, the Azerbaijan State Water Resources Agency, Azerenergy OJSC, Azerishig OJSC, Azerigaz PU, the Energy Regulatory Agency, and the WUF13 Organizing Committee participated in the event.
It was stated that the main purpose of the event was to hold discussions on ensuring the reliable safety of citizens during urban planning activities and to determine the tasks ahead in this direction.
Speakers at the roundtable provided detailed information on the work carried out in preparation for the 13th session of the World Urban Forum.
They also emphasized the importance of strengthening state supervision in urban planning activities and discussed the role of this process in ensuring the reliable safety of citizens.
