The tourism sector is fully ready to host WUF13, said Deputy Chairman of the State Tourism Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Kenan Guluzade, at a media briefing on preparations for WUF13, APA reports.
He noted that Azerbaijan has already developed extensive experience in organizing international events: “Such events also have a direct positive impact on the country’s tourism. As a Tourism Agency, we have structured our activities within the framework of this event across 7 directions. More than 100 hotels have been involved in the process to accommodate guests, while over 60 hotels have been put up for sale on international platforms. Currently, 206 licensed hotels operate in the city of Baku.”
He added that tours to 24 cities have been organized within the framework of the event. This also includes the territories liberated from occupation.
