136 505 people came to Azerbaijan last month, APA reports citing the State Tourism Agency.
This is 42% more in comparison to the relevant period of 2022. Thus 95 844 people came to the country in March of last year.
During the 3 months of this year, the number of people who came to the country was 369,072. This was 50 percent more than the corresponding period of 2022 (246,277 people).
According to the number of arrivals last month, Russia (43,966), Türkiye (30,396), Iran (12,123), Georgia (7,476), and India (6,766) were in the top five.
Compared to the first 3 months of last year, a 6 percent decrease in the number of tourists coming from Iran was recorded in the relevant period of this year.
