An instruction has been given to start the resettlement of internally displaced persons from dormitories this year, said Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
“In recent years, about 100 settlements worth of more than five billion manats have been built for IDPs in the country,” the president said Monday addressing a conference dedicated to the results of third year implementation of "The State Program on socio-economic development of Azerbaijani districts in 2014-2018".
The head of state noted the importance of building private houses in the settlements.
“An instruction has been given to start the resettlement of IDPs from dormitories this year. Additional funds will be allocated for the improvement of the housing conditions of IDPs living in dormitories. The funds will be allocated within the next month,” President Aliyev added.
