Once the draft law on vocational-professional education is ready, draft laws on general secondary and higher education will be brought up, Chairman of the Parliament’s Science and Education Committee Isa Habibbayli told APA on Wednesday.
He said draft laws are generally prepared in stages.
“First we approved the law on science and then a draft law on pre-school education was prepared. During the spring session, this draft law will be discussed and the draft law on vocational-professional education will begin to be prepared. Next draft laws on general secondary and higher education will be brought up. In this area, we’re working in a rational and systematic way,” he added.
Earlier today, deputy chairman of the Science and Education Committee, MP Bakhtiyar Aliyev proposed preparing a law on higher education.
