Azerbaijani Parliament has excluded the proposal on privatization of kindergartens, chairman of the parliamentary committee on science and education Isa Habibbayli said during today’s committee meeting on the new draft law on “pre-school education.”
Habibbayli said the provision on privatization of pre-school facilities was cancelled due to public discontent and objection from a number of MPs.
“By this means, the issue of privatizing Azerbaijani pre-school education facilities came to a close. However, any foreign or local investors can make investments in pre-school education facilities in accordance with our law. But this too will be done under government control,” he added.
