Azerbaijan announces university placement results, specialty selection to be done for vacancies

The results can be found on the official website of the SSAC. Applicants will also be able to know the results by sending their work number to 7727.

The list of the accepted students will be published in the seventh edition of the journal "Abituriyent" on August 12.

Those who became students will have to register by submitting their documents to their university from 15 to 25 August. If an applicant does not pass the registration in due time, it will be regarded as his/her waiving of being placed in the relevant specialty, so orders of acceptance will not be sent to the university.

The competition was attended by 38,118 students, of which 34,224 entered universities. Of these, 12,309 will study at public expense and 21,915 on a fee basis.

The list of the remaining vacant places in universities will be published in the 8th issue of the journal "Abituriyent".

Selection specialties for these vacancies will be held from August 15 to 19 via the Internet.

Together with the codes of specialties that have remained vacant, applicants may also show the special codes in secondary vocational schools. The list of specialties in secondary vocational schools was published in the 5th edition of the journal "Abituriyent".
