The AZAL official noted that most of the flights took place in the direction of Antalya.
“If we compare the July of this year to the July of last year, the number of people flying from Baku to Antalya has increased more than twice, which is a high figure. There is an ongoing increase in the Bodrum-Izmir direction too. But the record increase in number is towards Antalya, which indicates that Azerbaijanis prefer to spend their holiday on the coast of native Turkey. In July and August, there have been four flights from Baku to Antalya per day. This is still ongoing. As Azerbaijan Airlines, we will further expand our cooperation with Turkish Airlines,” he said.
