Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Youth and Sports held an event on Wednesday to present the redesigned ‘Azerbaijan Student Card’.
“Azerbaijan Student Card”, with the European Youth Card attached to, will give students a chance to benefit from discounts in more than 80,000 public facilities, cafes and restaurants, hotels, internet clubs etc in the territory of the country, as well as in more than 30 European countries.
This project has been initiated jointly by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Education and the Azerbaijan Student Youth Organizations' Union.
Addressing the event, Minister of Youth and Sports Azad Rahimov said the projects aims to encourage young people to become more mobile in the social and cultural life of society.
At the end of the event, several students from each educational institution were presented with student cards.
