2430.5 l of blood donated at "Ashura Day” blood donation campaign - UPDATED-2

A voluntary blood donation campaign entitled "Ashura Day”, organized by the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan and the Caucasus Muslims Office, continues, press service of the Ministry told APA.

According to the information, 5401 people have donated blood till 3 p.m. 2430.5 l of blood have been donated.

According to the information, 3 510 people have donated blood till 12 a.m. 1579.5 l of blood have been donated.

On the occasion of Ashura, a voluntary blood donation campaign, organized by the Ministry of Health of Azerbaijan and the Caucasus Muslims Office, is being held in order to help patients in need of blood, the Ministry told APA.

Locations of blood donation campaign in Baku: Binagadi Imam Ali Mosque, United City Hospital No 14 in Khazar district and Mir Movsum Aga's sanctuary, Nasimi district Ajdarbey Mosque and City Polyclinics No 20, Nizami district Shah Abbas Mosque and Mosque Sakhibaz-zaman, Sabunchu district Rahima Khanim Mosque and Imam Rza Mosque, Sabail district Bibiheybat Mosque and Ichari Shahar Juma Mosque, Surakhani district Garachukhur Mosque, Yasamal district Taza Pir Mosque, Haji Soltan Ali Mosque, and Haji Javad Mosque.
