In order to eliminate the consequences of devastating quake in 10 regions of Turkiye, humanitarian mobilization is underway in entire world, APA reports.
Aids dispatched from dozens of countries were not only financial support to disaster victims, but also were an important moral support for all Turkish people. Since the first days of the tragedy, humanitarian aid campaigns launched by government and people are on the focus of the Turkish media.
Anadolu news agency published an article about Azerbaijani students studying in Turkiye who refused to be evacuated and voluntarily supported rescue measures. The article noted that although Azernaijani student Elkhan Gurbanli, a doctorate student at Sütçü Imam University, was seen off from Kahramanmarash with the evacuation bus, he changed his mind in Ankara and voluntarily joined the team cooking meals for quake victims.
“Sabah” newspaper also published an article about the activity of Azerbaijani volunteers.
“Wherever there is a need, Azerbaijani youths who run there once again show the whole world that we are two states and one nation,” reads the article.
