Torrential rains expected in some places

On September 1, the weather will have a variably cloudy weather without any rain be Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, the National Hydrometeorological Department of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources told APA.

The northwesterly wind in the morning will be replaced with the southeasterly wind.

The temperature on the Absheron Peninsula will be 16-20 C in the night and 23-26 C in the morning, while in Baku the temperature will be 17-19 C in the night and 24-26 C in the morning.

The atmospheric pressure will be normal at 760 mm mercury, humidity will be in night 70-80%, 55-65% in daytime.

The northwesterly wind in the morning will be replaced with the southeasterly wind on Absheron peninsulas at daytime. The temperature of seawater will be 22-23 Celsius in the northern (Sumgayit, Novkhani, Pirshagi, Nardaran, Bilgah, Zagulba).

The temperature of seawater will be 23-24 Celsius in southern beaches (Turkan, Hovsan, Sahil, Shikhovo) beaches.

Rain and lightning are expected in some places of the regions of Azerbaijan. Torrential rain is expected in some northern and eastern regions in the night. Rain will stop gradually in most regions in the daytime. Fog will be observed in some places in the morning, an east wind will blow.

The temperature will be 14-19 C at night, 25-30 C in the daytime, in mountains 8-13 C at night and 15-20 C in the daytime.
