A working group consisting of employees of the Food Safety Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (AFSA), the Food Safety Institution, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, as well as the Ministry of Health will conduct epizootological monitorings on November 12-16 to protect the country from highly pathogenic Bird flu, the Food Safety Agency told APA.
Monitorings will be conducted among wild birds in Absheron peninsula, national parks and reserves and marshlands of Shabran, Salyan, Lankaran, and Aghjabadi disticts, as well as coastal areas of Azerbaijan Republic.
At the same time, serological monitorings are planned to be held in the same period in backyard agricultures in Absheron, Shabran, Salyan, Lankaran, and Aghjabadi districts.
