First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva has extended her condolences to the family of the military pilot, colonel-lieutenant Rashad Atakishiyev who died as a result of the crash of the MiG-29 aircraft of Azerbaijani Armed Forces, APA reports.
First Vice-President has sent wreath for the farewell ceremony.
Note that on July 24 at 22:00 (GMT +4), the MIG-29 plane of the Azerbaijani Air Force crashed during training flights and fell into the Caspian Sea. During the night training flights, the connection with the MIG-29 plane was suddenly lost, and it disappeared from the radars. On August 20, the body of the military pilot Lieutenant Colonel Atakishiyev Rashad Saleddin, was found and recovered from the sea.
The pilot was buried in the second Alley of Honor today.
