Another info tour to the city of Shusha was organized by the State Committee for Affairs of Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons with the support of the Special Representative Office of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Shusha district. the Press Service of the State Committee told APA.
It was stated that a group of former internally displaced persons involved in income-generating activities within the framework of the implementation of the Action Plan of the First State Program on the Great Return participated in the info tour. They inspected the city and was informed about the restoration and reconstruction works being carried out, as well as the employment opportunities being created.
It was noted that, based on the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev and the State Program, large-scale reconstruction measures are being carried out in the city, infrastructure is being restored, and the necessary conditions are being created for people working and living there. The participants of the info tour visited historical and natural monuments in the city of Shusha and also closely familiarized themselves with the conditions created for the internally displaced families who have returned to their native land within the framework of the Great Return process. Former internally displaced persons noted that the info tour was very useful and informative. It was stated that such info tours are of great importance in terms of closely acquainting with the course of the Great Return, the process of permanent settlement in the region, and integration into economic activity, as well as for making plans for the future. Info tours to other liberated territories will continue within the framework of the Action Plan of the First State Program on the Great Return.
