The Minister of Health Ogtay Shiraliyev has signed an order to hold an “Immunization week” in Azerbaijan, ONA reports citing the Ministry of Health.
The order is aiming the organization of the "Immunization Week" held in the European region since 2006 within the initiative of the World Health Organization (WHO) in a high level in Azerbaijan.
All heads of medical institutions and centers in all cities and districts of the republic was given the order on the organization of the "Immunization Week”, on April 24-30.
During the “Immunization week”, vaccination of the children that left beyond immunizations for any reason, conducting monitoring for vaccine coverage, and ensuring the enlightenment of the population are also envisaged in the order.
