Azerbaijan's Central Bank issues mandatory instructions to Mobile Payment Solutions

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has identified a number of violations of legislative and regulatory requirements during an on-site inspection of Mobile Payment Solutions LLC, APA-Economics reports, citing the Central Bank.

The company has been issued mandatory instructions to eliminate the identified shortcomings.

The corrective measures were imposed in accordance with Article 48.2.4 of the Law "On the Central Bank" and Article 63.1 of the Law "On Payment Services and Payment Systems."

Note that Mobile Payment Solutions operates under the Portmanat brand and obtained an electronic money institution license in July 2024.
