An attempt to transport mobile phones across the customs border without declaring them has been prevented as a result of measures carried out by employees of the Tovuz Customs Department, APA-Economics reports.
A customs inspection was conducted on a vehicle entering the Republic of Azerbaijan from Georgia at the department's "Red Bridge" customs post.
During the customs inspection, 433 undeclared mobile phones were discovered hidden in the tractor unit of the vehicle.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
