ID cards to be issued regardless of residence registration in Azerbaijan from today

Azerbaijani citizens will be able to obtain their Identity cards from anywhere, regardless of the place of residence, APA reports.

Earlier, Minister of Internal Affairs Colonel-General Vilayat Eyvazov signed an order regarding additional measures to increase the satisfaction of citizens in the field of issuing identity cards

According to the order, the identity cards of Azerbaijani citizens will be issued regardless of the place of residence from November 1 by the employees of the territorial police agencies and the registration bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs operating in the ASAN service centers.

Note that in accordance with the relevant decree of President of Azerbaijan Citizen's Passports with electronic carriers, which have been applied since September 2013 are given to Azerbaijani citizens from that year in every ASAN service center and territorial police agency.

Necessary measures are being taken in order provide high-quality services to citizens in all areas of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
