Heat to reach 39 degrees in Azerbaijan - FORECAST

On August 20, in Baku and Absheron peninsula, sunny weather is expected, the National Hydrometeorology Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources told APA.

South-east wind will replace north-east wind in the daytime. The temperature in the Absheron Peninsula will be 20-24 at night, 32-37 C at daytime, in Baku 21-23 C at night, and 35-37 C in the daytime.

Atmospheric pressure will be 761 millimeters of mercury; relative humidity will be 60-70% at night, 30-40% at daytime.

A north-east wind will be replaced by south-east wind on Absheron peninsulas at daytime.

The sea water temperature will be 25-26 C on the northern beaches (Sumgait, Novkhani, Pirshaghi, Nardaran, Bilgah, Zagulba) and 26-27 C on the southern beaches (Turkan, Hovsan, Sahil, Shikh).

The weather will be mostly dry in the regions of Azerbaijan tomorrow. East wind will blow. The temperature will be 19-24 C at night, 34-39C in the daytime, in the mountains 13-18 C at night, 24-29 C in the daytime.
