Azerbaijani Human Rights Commissioner (Ombudsman) Elmira Suleymanova has commented on the information disseminated on social media that her resign is considered advisable as she is a representative of old generation too, APA reports.
The Ombudsman told reporters that she is expecting official decision of President Ilham Aliyev on dismissal from the post: “Mentioning my name in social network is another issue, I do not want to talk on it. When one of the old people was asked on this issue, he said that he is waiting for official decision. I liked the approach and opinion very much. Shortly, I can say that I am waiting official deicision of Mr. President.”
