“Visa regime, implemented for Turkish citizens, was in its simplified version, it was obtained in airport. However time period of 5-10 minutes, spent for the visa process, and any bureaucratic barriers have been removed and these citizens can conveniently pass through all border checkpoints of Azerbaijan”, Chief of State Migration Service of Azerbaijan Vusal Huseynov commented on visa abolition with Turkey, APA reports.
The Chairman of the Service told reporters that abolition of visa regime means facilitation of migration process: “According to the agreement, Turkish citizens may stay in Azerbaijan for 30 days. Azerbaijani citizens may travel Turkey conveniently, as well as Turkish citizens easily visit Azerbaijan too. There is not any problem. Duty of relevant Azerbaijan bodies is to prevent troubles, if there occur. Everything is fine for today.”
