Innovation Agency will invest in perspective startups in Azerbaijan”, said chairman of the Innovation Agency Tural Karimli, APA-Economics reports.
According to him, priorities are currently identified by the Agency.
“It will be either in the form of allocating grants, or investments. Majority of startups still expects grants. I can surely say that unlike investments, grants help little to startups. Foreign investor is not attracted by startups that get grants. Therefore, our priority will be to invest in startups, so they will be more attractive to foreign investors”, T.Karimli noted.
