The employees of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) are setting up temporary tents for the residents of Kahramanmaraş city of the fraternal country in connection with the earthquake that happened in Türkiye, APA's correspondent sent Türkiye reports.
The employees of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Emergency Situations have started setting up the tents sent from Azerbaijan in the Doğukend neighborhood of the city.
Turgay Abbasli, the chief adviser of the Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, told reporters that the process of building a tent town for the earthquake victims is underway in the Doğukend neighborhood: "Under the instruction of President Ilham Aliyev, the Ministry of Emergency Situations sent humanitarian aid to the fraternal country in connection with the earthquake that struck Turkiye. 10 planes and three car convoys have so far arrived in Turkiye by the ministry. The number of sent cars is 39. The aid convoys consist of tents of different sizes, generators, and other necessary items.
