Azerbaijani singer Rufat Akhundov will be banned from being on TV starting from today, ONA reports.
The National Television and Radio Council (NTRC) will give a verbal warning to TV channels on the ban.
On April 5, singer Rufat Akhundov used obscene words while singing in the “Her Seher" (Every Morning) program at Space TV.
NTRC has fined Space TV because of the incident. A protocol has been drawn up with the participation of the TV channel’s management to impose a fine of 5,000-8,000 manats in accordance with the Code of Administrative Offenses, a decision has been made and the case has been sent to a court.
