The Rules for Maintaining an Information Security Risk Register have been approved, and a “Threats and Solutions” catalogue will be created, APA reports.
The Cabinet of Ministers has adopted a decision on this matter.
Based on sub-clause 8.1.1.1 of the Action Plan for the implementation of the “Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Information Security and Cybersecurity for 2023–2027”, approved by Presidential Order No. 4060 dated August 28, 2023, a “Threats and Solutions” catalogue shall be created on the official website of the State Service of Special Communication and Information Security of the Republic of Azerbaijan. This catalogue is intended to include and continuously update a classified collection of information security and cybersecurity threats in the information space by category.
The State Service of Special Communication and Information Security of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall ensure the regular updating of the “Threats and Solutions” catalogue and, after risk registers are formed within state bodies, shall assess their compliance with the requirements of the Rules.
