Today, the keys to their homes were handed over to families arriving in Mammadbeyli village with the next resettlement convoy, APA’s local bureau reports.
After being welcomed in Mammadbeyli village of Zangilan district, the families were given detailed information by ANAMA officials about the dangers posed by mines and unexploded ordnance.
The families were advised to avoid unknown or suspicious objects and, if they encounter any, to report them to the relevant authorities.
The key handover ceremony was attended by representatives of the Special Representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Jabrayil, Gubadli, and Zangilan districts, the State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons, and other officials. The families have now settled into their homes.
At this stage, 20 families, totaling 103 people, have been relocated to Mammadbeyli village. These are families temporarily settled in various parts of the country, including dormitories, sanatoriums, camps, unfinished buildings, and administrative premises.

The next resettlement convoy has arrived in Mammadbayli village of Zangilan district, APA’s local bureau reports.
At this stage, a total of 20 families (103 people) have been resettled to Mammadbayli village, including 14 families (74 people) from Baku, 4 families (20 people) from Absheron district, 1 family (6 people) from Sumgayit, and 1 family (3 people) from Sabirabad district.
