WHO discloses recommendation to Azerbaijan regarding coronavirus

"We recommend Azerbaijan to attach importance to early detection of the coronavirus, strengthen treatment of disease cases", said head of WHO Mission, arrived in Azerbaijan, Carolina Brown, APA reports.

C. Brown stated that coronavirus is a new virus, as number of patients increase in the whole world countries, COVID-19 has already been declared pandemics: "However it has not changed our strategy. All countries have been called on for mobilizing their efforts because of declaration of COVID-19 as a pandemics."

C. Brown noted they disussed the issues, which should be focused mostly with health bodies of Azerbaijan on the sidelines of the visit: ""The issues include epidemiological condition, conduction of laboratory tests, provision with medical equipment, prevention of the disease, risk communication."
