The Prosecutor General’s Office and the Ministry of Internal Affairs have released joint information, APA reports.
The joint information reads that the operational headquarters established under the Cabinet of Ministers periodically informs the public about preventive measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection, the number, treatment of infected and quarantined individuals, etc.
"However, rumors have been circulated by individuals through social networks and the Whatsapp mobile app regarding the fight against coronavirus, causing panic and confusion in people.
The Prosecutor General’s Office and the Ministry of Internal Affairs urge citizens not to believe such rumors, to take into account only information from authorized state bodies.
