On February 25, 2020, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan have discussed restrictions on the movement of vehicles and citizens from Turkey to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, press service of the State Border Service of the Republic of Azerbaijan told APA.
It was noted that President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has raised the issue at the meeting with Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Turkish President instructed heads of relevant state organizations of Turkey to release the cargo vehicles from Dilucu state border checkpoints of Turkey to Sadarak border checkpoints of the Nakhchivan Autonomic Republic of Azerbaijan. Movement of cargo vehicles resumed starting from February 26 at 3:10 pm.
