Import-quarantine stations will be created in Azerbaijan this year,” said Chairman of the Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency (AFSA) Goshgar Tahmazli in a press conference held in Executive Secretariat of the New Azerbaijan Party (NAP), APA reports.
He stated projecting of import-quarantine stations, considered for import of food products of plant and animal origin, will be carried out in Azerbaijan in accordance with international standards.
“Establishment of two import-quarantine stations is considered for this year. The creation of such import-quarantine stations in away from border crossing points of Azerbaijan, importing foods, is planned in the following years,” said.
