The expansion of scientific cooperation between the Azerbaijani and the Iranian universities is on agenda, said Ishag Rasuli, rector of Islami Azad University of Ardabil province in his statement to APA’s Tehran bureau.
He said a decision has been adopted to launch a new phase in scientific cooperation with Azerbaijan: “Such issues as a mutual exchange of scientific delegations and students from the two countries and establishment of joint scientific working groups and organization of conferences have been envisaged in the new phase of cooperation with the Azerbaijani universities”.
I. Rasuli said earlier the cooperation was also implemented in the area of exchange of students and professors, as well as printing of books. The rector said the cooperation in these areas will be continued in a more intensive way.
He said currently the relations between the two countries have been organized at a high level, and the best opportunities have developed for the comprehensive development of cooperation between the two nations.
