Chairman of Agency: More than 250 thousand people have used compulsory health insurance at the expense of the state budget

Despite of the pandemic, the compulsory health insurance has been applied successfully in 23 regions and cities, the chairman of State Agency for Compulsory Medical Insurance of the Republic of Azerbaijan Zaur Aliyev at the press conference dedicated to the results of the previous year, APA reports

He noted that more than 256 thousand people have used from the compulsory health insurance at the expense of the state budget: “The number of medicines and medical supplies provided to medical institutions has been increased. Last year, the medical institutions have been provided with 334 types of medicine. These assortments will be increased”.
