US judge: â€œSupremacy of law, independence of judges, transparency and fairness of the system are the main action principles of the judiciaryâ€

Tamara Grigorievaâ€“APA. â€œSupremacy of law, independence of the judges, transparency and fairness of the system are the main action principles of the judiciaryâ€, said John Walker, Judge of New York Second District Court of Appeal, USA, at the press-conference in Baku. He said he would call on the representatives of Azerbaijanâ€™s court system to observe these principles. Walker said it was important that the court system would be separate from the politics and in this case people became more confident in the courts. The guest said the judiciary system of his country was completely independent and reputable.
Walker visits Azerbaijan for the first time and he will leave for Georgia.
